Week 51

This was simply an ordinary week. A good week. The weather was perfect, I went to the Monday night wine tasting, got in a few workouts at the gym, enjoyed a couple of morning group coffees and had an afternoon by the pool with a friend.

Life has become wonderfully routine. In next week’s blog, I’ll recap this incredible year I’ve had. In the meantime, here are a few pictures from around Pézenas and a song that tells a beautiful story.

This statue of Saint Roch dates back to the 15th century. Protector of the sick, pilgrims, and animals, he pulls up his robe to show a wound on his leg, symbolizing an illness he contracted while helping the sick.

I love the stories Ray Lamontagne paints with his music. I had Spotify on shuffle this week and Winter Birds came on. I’d forgotten how much I love this song.

À bientôt .
